Macaneta Beach

Only a few kilometers along the coast to the north of Maputo you can find the quiet little village of Macaneta Beach. Macaneta Beach can be reached with a four wheel drive vehicle – it is a five minute ferry ride across the Nkomati River and then ten kilometers along a sand track.
