Beira is the second largest city in Mozambique. It is a fusion of tropical Africa, continental and oriental life. Beira is built on swampy ground at the mouth of the Pungwe River and is quite hot and humid especially in summer. Beira has banks, hotels, restaurants and some interesting shops.
